Tracy Thor

Hi there! I am Tracy Thor and I have worked in the Winnipeg Regional office as a Regional Representative since Jan of 2007. I am also a former PSAC member who worked at Canada Post. I held elected positions as Vice President and President of my Local within the Union of Postal Communications Employees. During my career at PSAC I have been through several strikes, negotiated collective agreements, facilitated a wide range of education opportunities and helped to organize lobbying and other community events with members. My two sons share my love of all sports whether watching or participating so you can often find us at a Jets or Bomber game!

Rachel Stark

Rachel is a regional representative out of the Calgary office. She began working for the PSAC in 2021, providing direct representation for the academic sector. She began working with the Federal Public Service just in time for the 2023 TB and CRA strike. Rachel got her first taste for union activism in 2017 when the Alberta NDP government legislated the unionization of graduate workers. Rachel took on the task of creating the union, negotiating collective agreements, and providing all representation for graduate workers at the University of Lethbridge, while completing her degree. Outside of her work, Rachel is an avid gardener (the local food bank knows her as “the lady with the garden”) and can be found at the golf course when not playing in the dirt.

Karoline Klug

After working abroad for several years, I returned to Canada and began my union activism path in Ottawa. I worked with wonderful folks in 3 national museums and was inspired to become involved in regional/component activism for social justice and human rights issues. I realized that an important aspect of activism was union/labour education, as a way of engaging folks in conversation. I worked as a regional representative in Vancouver, Yellowknife, and Edmonton before finding my way to Winnipeg as the Prairie Regional Education Officer. I value the opportunity to have meaningful discussions during education events and connecting union values with social justice principles. I love to travel and hope to explore new places in 2024. Introduce me to a new restaurant or food or a good book and you have made a friend. 😊 Chat with me about a wonderful trip you have taken, and I am happy to listen and be inspired.
